Shakugan no Shana series; overall rating: outstanding. You will need a good memory to remember the difficult names, but that doesn't change the fact that this series is interesting.

Story:
I have to say the plot's actually pretty interesting. There's a big difference between the first&second and the final. That difference is the conflict. While First and Second have a main conflict, and multiple contradiction, this only has a main conflict (youknowwhat). There's no such breaks from one story to another. In this season you will find the climax of the romance. But the only downside is, the comedy is greatly reduced. It's probably because this season focuses on the main story. You will have to watch the seasons before to understand this season.

Dialogue:
Average. The dialogues are too obvious. Sometimes the whole situation is explained by one whole dialogue, and for me that's why the characters, seem crazy, like talking to themselves. But the seiyuus did a great job. All emotions and feelings could be felt clearly.

Animation:
Nice. It's greatly improved, but sometimes the animation can go beyond logic. For example, while fighting at the G** G***, we can see Y*** and S**** fighting above the Dr****, but when we see the scene when the dr**** is moving, we can't see them above the dr****. I thought they should have minded a little about details.

Entertainment:
Very good. The romance and the action are mixed well enough. Every episode's ending makes us want to know more about the next episode. (show less)

After watching season 2 of this series and loving its ending - this start of this season shook me up... to say a breaf bit about the end.... Its epic ... perhapes one of the best twists to an ending while being still fairly rythmic.

This story has always been great from season 1 to 2 its just this season 3 really went over the top. Their are many intersting things.. but to be honest the real thing I noticed was how it ended so completly. The series was awesome and epic and ran well practical. It seamed not only was this series keeping an epic story-line and twist in place but also did so with a well thought out plan. I dont believe other than code Geass-have I seen such a spactacular grip on an imaginary story to the point I could see every plot point working its self out like that in real life. Its also fairly odd to have two sides that are diversly oppossed and still end it so well. This has to be the most complete through and susinct ending I have ever witnessed.

The Dialgue continued to be epic. It was a fresh change to see the voice actor [sorry I dont know his name] who plays Aizen [in Bleach Japanese actor] and Taizen [in Bazalisk Japanese actor] do a complete 180 and actually end a fairly good guy while staying 100% to his series character. That alone shows how epic this is. Everyone did excelent in the past but this season is truelly a masterpiece. A word has to go to the writers who made it excellent and allowed for the voice actors to complete the lines perfectly.

Animation .... well I cant say that it really stepped up. but this is one of the few shows besides Bleach that has actually stepped up to the plate of delivering animation good consistantly. additionaly their where tons of exploshions in this series and smoke more in some episodes than the total of seaons 1 and 2 combined... drawing a character correctly through smoke is fairly hard. Dealing with massive battlefields and trying to keep the "drone powers" look unique while distinqushing them from the main characters who each have a differnt power is more unique.. truelly and Excellent rating.

Entertainment.. Its a blast! As far as action goes.. Its superb.. it caps off the sometimes slow moments of the first two seaons giving nearly non-stop action in realistic and stratigic environments that rival Code-Geass in pure military stratigy and genius. Additionally The twists and turns, backs and forths, and sooo many vastly differnt chacters are brought in so nicely it just feels like they had X2 the cast of Bleach but figured out how to make them all have screan time without making it seem jerky or disturbing the flow.... Amasing. For those who love Romance.. this series odd twist will both make you ponder and actually fulfill your expectations on how you see romance and what it can drive people to do.. and of course there is tons of Drama this season for those who love slice of life.

All in all IM going to have to reconsider all my favorit animes.. because this one is definantly in my top 5... it may not carry the strict true to face animation.. but with the addition of the flash and dash of other serieses and the charm this series creates.. makes it unequalled in several ways. Its Much like a superior blend of Soul Eater feel with the brilliance of Code-Geass.

I highly recomend it to everyone.. [though obviously watch seaons 1 and 2 first to understand anything... I would skip over OVA season S though]
