I first saw this anime in an amv on youtube and after that I was pretty interested with it. Well one thing's for certain I wasn't disappointed.
The animation is not overly amazing being pretty average however the scenes are clearly animated and easy to follow with very little dark scenes.
The characters are a bit hard to like at the beginning the Louise having a haughty attitude made her hard to like and Saitou has a modest, dense yet devilish revenge seeking personality that made him irritating to watch at first. However as the series progressed the character development of the two made them lovable.
In terms of story its the perfect set up for romance and comedy. Unexpectedly thrown together and forced to work together. It is a little like a harem as Saitou is constantly being surrounded by females incurring the wrath of their jealously.

Its a pretty good anime I'd recommend to people after a good romance story with a bit of action to it. This is only the first season as there are three more seasons after this one. Its comedy is average and a little cliched for this type of set up however it is still good with a few jokes unique to the anime. The echi is very limited to large boobs, panty scenes and even one bath scene. If you enjoyed it then there's the other seasons after this one and also the light novel and manga (show less)

Honestly, since I don't want to lie to you: I didn't like this one too much. If I were to give it a personal rating, it'd get two stars at most, but I'm trying to be objective and give you an image of what you're about to watch.
This anime is good for you if you're into cute comedies with a little ecchi and romance stuff. However, the plot is very, very random at times, all for the love of comedy, and especially in the middle of the anime it seems like each episode has a mini-plot but they just don't really connect. I didn't watch the two other seasons so I'm not sure about them though. The animation is okay, nothing special but it's been done artistically.
Also, the story seemed to me more like a history parody. Within all the magic and fantasy and parallel-world-thing, there's suddenly personalities from history (Oliver Cromwell....) I'm not into fantasy-history mixtures if the focus lies on the fantasy, so I didn't like this one, and I think if it doesn't change I'm going to quit watching the series. However, for you possible future watchers, read what I said above and decide on your own if you might like it. (show less)
