Umineko no naku koro ni is an anime about murder cases and magic. It's about a young man called Ushiromiya Battler who comes from the rich family Ushiromiya. One day when the family was going to have a reunion because the head of the family only had a short time left to live and they are going to decide how to spend the money persons start to die and everyone starts suspecting eachother. but the murders were almost impossible to cary out so the question is. whas it a one of the 18 people on the island who did it or is there a 19 person on the island? This anime also includes some really bloody scenes so you know! But i reccomend it to those who like a good thriller with mysterious murders and rituals. Also "Let my flip the chessboard over" is something Battler says when he wants to think about a case. (show less)

contains the old and hidden magic of great king Solomon that the golden witch Beyato use in awrong way fprrgoting how the magic is supposed to use for, THE buterfly effect wich swallow the humen in the maze of time and lost, the fight betwen awitch and amere human who will stand against the dark magic of the witch with his will to save his family and deny the witches existence that make the witch real, to fight her he uses the real and pure sourse of magic (the will).

So i started watching this anime last year toward the end of fall. With this girl i liked. She's the the one that introduced me to it.

Anyway, the anime stats out pretty crazy and grotesque. I freaking loved it from the first episode. Watching at least four or five episodes a night. Until we watched all the available episodes at the time.

Now that there are more episodes i am so stocked.

Trust me you'll like this anime if you like some gore and/or blood. I definitely did/ still do. it has a very conplex storyline (kind of) so play close attention but never the less enjoy it. (^_^)

Its ok if you do, and its ok if you don't. There is a side for you here.
It starts off as a who-dunit and turns into a how-ja-do-it.
A previous review said that some of the parts are repetitive and it may be some what true but that the whole point. The story is more or less a game of can you prove it.

There is a decent amount of gore in this series but maybe even more disturbing is how dark and cruel some of the characters can be. I found it pretty captivating through out and for the most part the dialogue was pretty decent.
The series didn't end exactly the way I wanted and it left me wanting more. After a quick bit of research I found that there are a series of games that this anime was modeled after. Most of them are in Japanese but there are a few fan sites that offer english translation. The latest game being on the PS3.

All in all if your looking for a good horror mystery mixed with an emotional roller coaster, give this anime a spin. It was a good fit for me. (show less)
