Despite the anime looking girly and everything it's actually good, I actually read the manga a few years ago and read it again then watched the anime. The manga is what actually got me interested in the whole anime (cause I saw the anime somewhere before but decided not to watch it). The anime is quite similar to sailor moon so if you like sailor moon you might like this. I highly recommend this if you like a bit of comedy and magic, I think people 8+ will like this.

I liked the anime, because it was not possible to know who really is the Blue Knight. Around the 30th part about this show.
In addition, liked the characters, mainly Ichigo's character.
And not to mention that the actors enough character evolved over the parts below :)

Tokyo Mew Mew was my very first anime, and it will definitely be my last. This show is a complete shoujo, but has it's little action parts as well. I'm not a girly girl at all and yet this is probably my favorite anime.
When you first see this show, you probably think, "Uuwaahh~!! Too much girly and magical girl!!" Actually, there's a lot of comedy, action, romance, and even a bit supernatural. Anybody who is a fan of Kaichou wa Maid-sama!, Hayate the Combat Butler! (either season), or even The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya will be sure to love ( read more)

First of all this is very girly but has some action for the less girly girls. I love the way it was created to make you sad, angry, happy, and cutesie cutesie. I wish they had made the manga sequel into an anime because I really miss those good old moments.Sigh :{ I like it because it brings me back to when I was a kid and when this first came out.
