The 2010 Movie of the anime: "The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi".
A new world is born where there's no more S.O.S. Brigade, and no one remembers it. Kyon tries desperatly to understand what happened to all is friends and why everyone doesn't remember anything. In the process, Kyon tries to make everything go back to what it used to be, unfortunatly, he´s not the only one aware of this "new world". |

Well to start of I guess you could call me a Haruhi fan.When I speak about this movie,I can speak quite accurately as I've read all the novels and watched both series and all I can say is WOW.
This movie is,in my opinion,what producers of other animes should aim for when they make a movie.It is 100% accurate in terms of the novel and it brings out all those little things like reactions,emotions and expressions which is usually not given in movie/that is mostly only described hence "seen" in a novel.The movie itself is of superb quality,the story ( read more)

I'm an action junkie kind of guy and even though this movie had almost no action I just absolutely loved it! The way it kept twisting and turning and made you wonder what was happening or who did it and throughout the whole movie you would just keep hoping it would continue so you could find out what happens next. Everyone should watch it even if you've seen the anime or not.

the movie had quite an awesome plot in comparison to the series as it is not revovled around haruhi as much as she does not even get much of the film time but i found it quite good as the movie links to the series which requires you to watch the series to understand some of the jokes but it is still good movie regardless if you have seen the series or not

Well, after the second season was anything else but good... This movie really made up for it.
The story is beautiful and puts each of the character in a unique situation.
The serious atmosphere, the good animations made that movie worth my time.
Not to forget unlike most anime movies, this movie actually is part of the plot, and is pretty long too.

This is one of the best movies I have ever seen! The story is great and only gets better as it progresses (but it gets a little big confusing near the end).
I recommend this to all Haruhi Suzumiya fans and although it is watchable if you haven't seen the series's I think you should watch them before you watch this because it has a lot of references to the series and scenes from them.
Also, and this is quite IMPORTANT as you may miss this if you skip ending themes/credits but there is something right at the end so make sure to watch it to the ( read more)

This movie is really good! I just saw it the other day, and i think i should share it with everybody :p Im gonna upload this movie today (probably only tomorrow you can download it), unfortunately i can't upload the Blu-Ray version, cause the limit in this site is only 2G...but this version is also pretty good so don't worry ;)
About the movie: this one is really made for the fans of this anime! They make a lot of referrences trough out the movie, concerning the anime (fortunately there's no more "eternal 8" lol). The story is nice, and it really ( read more)

The story is nice, and it really resembles the theme of Suzumiya Haruhi and all the "weird phenomenas". The pair of Kyon&Haruhi is really one of the funniest around :D
The Animation is really Great! Especially in the Blu-Ray version.
The Dialogue is exactly what you would expect from Suzumiya Haruhi (simply the funniest).
And the Story is truly addictive, and, as allways, unexpected ;)
For the Hardcore Fans of Suzumiya Haruhi, this is your movie...enjoy it ;) ( show less)
