A very nice prequel to the actual game, this anime is well worth the watch for fans of Star Ocean. I myself, being a fan of the game literally was blown away by the story and concept of this one. Very entertaining and kept me wanting more. It also helped fill in some gaps within the game as well, and gives a nice back story to many of the characters. Dialogue wasn't it's strong suit but it's pretty much fits the bill. A 9/10 in my book.
