the anime is rather good and I do really enjoy it.. But somehow, I felt like watching another maid-sama. as you can see, the main characters, Hikari and Kei, have such extraordinary skills and strength, which reminds me of Misaki and Takumi. so does the plot, I'm NOT saying both anime are the same, still... rich boy, poor girl, the competitions.

Hikari is very competitive against Kei, which mostly the scenes reminds you of Misaki and Takumi.
then Kei's feelings towards Hikari--> Takumi's feelings towards Misaki.. err~

Well, I do think the storyline are a bit cliche, but other than that, I do enjoy the laugh from watching this anime.. But AHHH- forget the "cliche-ness" between the animes, JUST ENJOY AND LOVE EM!!! (show less)

Well, the story is nice, characters are interesting and it's easy to get to like them, but after seeing Kaichou wa Maid-sama, I just can't rate this "excellent"... Although there were good, funny or touching moments, Akira and Tadashii made this show for me worthwatching but that's all.

If I were to explain it better... In 'Kaichou..' the main heroine was more interesting, she did things her own way, but she also had the deeper inner self, was sensitive to her stalker feelings, whie Hikari from S.A is just dense and thickheaded and that crazy enthusiasm of her was just irritatnig. She seems to be not quite developed character.

But to sum up : if you want to see some romance, love story of girl who can't see that she's loved and of boy who's totally in love with her, also if you want to see friends, which are looking for their happiness along with them - I guess it won't be bad to watch S.A :) but if you already saw Kaichou.." then it would be rather boring and labelled as "nothing new". The best part of this anime is the story and the humour- not only is the dialogue cute and witty but the characters are hilarious and funny as well. The story itself is better in the manga, but the anime isn't too bad either, especially with the animation aspect. Seven friends belong to a elite group at school called "Special A", and this anime follows the close relationship that each and every one of them share together. It can get romantic and sentimental, but that's part of what makes the story great and the different and well thought- out characters make it even better, it's definitely worth watching :D (show less)
