Sora no Otoshimono Forte is very much like I remember the first season. If you liked it before, you won't be too disappointed.

Luckily the story isn't exactly the same. Instead of waiting for another angeloid to attack some characters go on the offensive and start exploring the synapse. This reveals a bit more of the background of angeloids. Not everything is done as well as it could have in my opinion but story isn't the most important anyway.

The new characters are a great addition. Another, be it stereotypical, character which leads to different and funny situations.

The animations looks good but I still can't get used to the main character being chibi most of the time.

Sora no Otoshimone Forte is a rather average but fun to watch anime. I will definitly be watching the next season as well. (show less)

So the continuation of this anime will be fun to comment on. There were things that were better and things that were worse in this season. As always, the story is fairly predictable, it took me a few episodes before i could see the ending though. I've already made comments on the first one so in the interest of saving you time, I will shorten things down.

Story: The story once again goes through obvious conflicts and problems which doesn't make it a bad anime, it just makes it way too predictable. Once again though, they manage me saying that their story was average-good which makes it good. It cannot be seen as the best damn story that I have ever seen ever in the whole world cause obviously there was nothing better and I'm just going to mark excellent because I like this anime! No it was good but no where near to be excellent and yes I am making fun of the people who leave about 5 words and check off excellent on each category without leaving an explanation to why it is. THAT IS NOT A REVIEW! I digress though.

Characters:

Tomoki: What really annoyed me was how much he changed in the second season. He was a pervert but he wasn't that bad. The directors wanted to up his perversion level to extremely creepy and make him the most hated student in school. In the first season, he was disliked but they never went into great detail how much they hate him. This was an unpleasant change in his character however he still reamains the good guy bad guy type personality. In this one, he remains as the tiny stupid chibi like creature throughout almost the whole anime which was pretty annoying, in the first one, you can actually remember what he looked like. In the second one you were searching in your brain constantly saying what did he look like again? His normal self appeared so much less.

Astraea: Blonde, bigger breasts = american = dumb. There is really no surprise that she acts the way she does due to her appearance and has anyone notice how much japan likes giving blonde haired women with a blue outfit a sword? It might just be my imagination. However, she is extremely clumsy at the beginning but as I thought, she magically becomes super bad ass when not facing the main character, it made absolutely no sense at all. I thought to myself, jeez if you were that good, how could you suck at killing the main character? She sorta reminds me of Aisha from Outlaw Star. Oh and she also completes the triangle of powers that Nymph so nicely explains and gives away what will happen next. Magically alphas, betas and gammas all have a super strength and a super weakness and a in between stat. Wouldn't you know it, each one has one of the stats. Hmmm I wonder why they explained that cough cough cough. I'm sure you understand what that means, if not watch the anime and tell me that was not predictable, I DARE YOU!

?????: I rather not say but you'll pick up on who this is. This girl is so overused and generic that I don't think anyone in this anime can compete with her. Introduced near the end, she has a hairstyle and look that just scream what type of person she is going to be. I am disappointed on how they went through with making this character really unoriginal. It would be okay if I thought that this personality was fine but it is one of those personalities that you just get annoyed by when writers make a character like this. HATE IT!

Also: Breasts breasts breasts breasts and boobs. You know what? I think that's all I need to say.

Dialog: Dialog ran pretty much the same, overused gags, boring at sometimes but had a good flow and people stuck to their personalities so once again, another good.

Animation: I have a major problem with the main character being in chibi mode all the time. It makes me think that they were just too lazy to actually draw his character. Beyond this, the animation was fairly well done and didn't have many still points just like the previous season. Endings with different music and animation is still a plus. So another good for this category, it is really between average and good but I decided to round up again.

Entertainment: The new season kept me interested, while it was not as good as the first season, it kept its strength to make it a good season. I am only mad at the ending and the fact that the last episode had no real point to it at all. I won't ruin it but you know, logically you'd think they would go to the next step but obviously they want to save it for the movie so you have to wait several months before they release it. I doubt in seeing a season 3 after the movie, it really just depends on what they do in the movie as there really is only one logical way to go now. I know I marked them all with good but really they all are good, nothing was really so close that I would call it average, maybe story but I rounded it to good and nothing was so wonderful that it deserved an excellent. Nothing was poor or very poor and the anime was fun to watch, no tear jerkers in this one but there was definitely some funny parts.
