| Summary: |
During the mission to rescue Cream the Rabbit and Cheese the Chao from Dr. Eggman's headquarters, Sonic and his friends are caught in an explosion that transports them to another dimension occupied by humans. While Sonic is exploring this new place, he gets into trouble with the local police, who send the S Team, led by Sam Speed, after him. The S Team fails at catching Sonic, but Sonic falls into a swimming pool. Luckily, he is saved from drowning by a twelve year old boy named Christopher Thorndyke. Chris lives in a mansion owned by his two celebrity parents with his inventor grandfather. Chris aids Sonic in locating his friends, and it is not long before Dr. Eggman reappears. Eggman decides to make the new dimension the start of the Eggman Empire, and Sonic and Eggman battle to collect all seven Chaos Emeralds, which came to Earth with them; Sonic wants to use the Emeralds to return home, while Eggman wants to use them to take over the new world. At the end of the first season, Chaos Control occurs, but instead of sending Sonic and co. back home, parts of their world (like Angel Island) are sent to Earth instead. |

I like this anime very much. It's fun and relaxing but not that exciting as it's only children's show.
The only thing I dislike about the anime is that at time they will say things like they know they are "in the anime" and "Stuff about children being good" and etc.
There isn't other anime for sonic but there is alot of American Cartoon of Sonic. This anime doesn't give enough info about sonic but it's still a fun anime to watch. I feel like if this wasn't a children anime then it would be a better anime.

This is a great anime, especially if you're a fan of Sonic. It is the only Sonic anime other than Sonic The Hedgehog: The Movie which was released in 1999 and is loosely based off of Sonic CD for the Sega Saturn. Sonic X is based off of Sonic Adventures for the Sega Dreamcast. The show is mostly for kids but there is very little foul language here and there, and any fan of Sonic would love this anime. I've personally been a huge fan of Sonic ever since the original game was released for the Genisis. The only thing I wish they would have done with ( read more)

The only thing I wish they would have done with this anime is make the fight scenes more epic (specifically the fight between Sonic and, my all time fav Sonic character, Knuckles). Other than that I have no complaints about this anime and I'm glad they made it. If you like Sonic then I recommend watching this... unless of course you think you're too mature for something like this (losers), then I'd say go watch Samurai Champloo... or Karas... Or even Afro Samurai which is equally as awesome ( show less)

this is an anime based off of everyones favorite blue hedgehog. sonic the hedgehog of course. it is based off of the video games sonic adventure 1 and 2 and a bit of sonic battle. the 6th season isn't based off of any game when dealing with the metarex. (an alien race of bug like monsters bent on devouring the hearts of planets) this anime if full of action, adventure, suspense, comedy, humor, fun, robot bashing, and a bit of romance. if you like sonic the hedgehog then you'll love this anime. i added this to help better the site. the file types ( read more)
