To me Sola was one of those "need something to watch" shows. Overall it was great and i might even buy it but if you just need something average to watch Sola is the way to go. The story was pretty new to me even though it can be predictable at times. I found it to be written quite well and it kept me entertained throughout the entire series. I hope this review helps and pushes you to put this series on your list.

Sola is a pretty good series that takes some traditional anime elements and blends them with a new twist. I would not consider this an action oriented anime, but rather a series with a story that works on developing the characters through more realistic and rational responses to their situation, i.e. not everybody is clueless. :-)
While the ending felt rushed, it did bring a reasonable amount of "closure". A nice series that is worth the watch.
