Summary:
Miyanaga Saki is a first year high school girl whose family would get angry if she won the family mahjong games. But losing would also have its consequences. Because of this she develops a new way of playing that allows her to stay on the thin line between winning and losing, the +/- zero score, an almost impossible score. In a game that relies mainly on luck, the +/- zero score is harder than winning, but Saki can achieve this every time. Having always hated the game, her friend from middle school, Suga Kyotoro, forces her to play in the schools mahjong club. Her developed skill and superhuman luck has made her a worthy mahjong opponent, even to the middle schools national mahjong champion.

i love saki-chan.... eventhough she no like mahjong because of her family, but after play it again with her friend she like it more.... i want to know how will she do in the National.... can she bet her sister(Teru) and be sisters again.... ouhhhh i want to see the next season soon...... Give it a try to everyone who love sport like anime... this is the beeeesssssstttttt.

awesome anime guarantee that you will wanna try to play mahjong after watching, saki chan rocks. if you like animes like hikaru no go, chihayafuru or shion no oh then this is a must see.

After watching this series i start to feel an urge to play mahjong. This anime is simple yet watching this makes you want to play mahjong... well it did for me.
Anyway this anime is alright if your interested in games like mahjong
Even though I know nothing about Mahjong, it makes me want to learn! I liked the characters, and the story as well... I hope they make a second season, because I would really like to watch the Nationals tournament! This series is definitely worth watching!
