An anime that about casino games may sound appealing unfortunately this one fails to delivery a solid story and characterization making each episode a bit dragging and boring. An anime that about casino games may sound appealing unfortunately this one fails to delivery a solid story and characterization making each episode a bit dragging and boring. To those people who plays on casino may appreciate it however most of the games played in the series aren't interesting enough to warrant any attention. Despite the fact the some of the games were altered and exaggerated perhaps for the purpose of getting the viewers interest what it did was make it a lot more confusing aside from the fact the most of the games are purely luck based and doesn't really require a lot of skill or even the slightest strategy unless the player intends to cheat the game. Other factors like the Roll Ruler, Gate Cards & Gate Holders weren't really explained aside from hints being thrown down as the series reach its conclusion. The Roll Ruler, which apparently allows a person to control a situation to her favor (extreme luck), can only be used by the main characters Rio, her rival Risa & the mother Rina and none of the other Gate Holder has it making each match one-sided and useless. Even the hidden relationship of Rio, Risa and Rina which supposed to give the series somewhat of a story is not really that fascinating and even the main antagonist which happens to be their aunt is not evil to actually post a threat to anybody. This anime has a lot of flaws and i doubt it will spring a sequel even though there is a bit of a hint that it will have due to some characters appearing in the end of the series! ( show less)
