I really love the game of Persona (especially Persona 3 and Persona 4). When I first heard about P4 will become the animation, I think it'll be so strange. But, after I watch it by myself.. Persona 4 The Animation is so AMAZING!! The date are describe like the game is the first thing making me shock. Then the story about Nanako and her dad, about bonds with Yu's friends are describe one by one, and finally the true ending and very true ending are different episode making this anime ending with perfectly... I really love this anime and most recommended anime for all of you who have play it's game though.. Because it's like the walktrough of the game.. (show less)

If you play Persona games, you won't expect the animation would be so amazing.

This series can makes you thrill, expecting, cry, and laugh until you found there's nothing can stop you anymore.

In the story, the main character, Narukami Yu (Seta Souji) found himself has the ability to adventure into the tv world, after he moved to a new place because of his parents' work. There he met new friends and discover the truth of the other world.
One day, he and his earliest friends, Chie and Yosuke, went into the tv at a supermarket accidentally. They met Kuma (Teddie) and then, their awesome battles begin..

Meet Yu's weirdo friends:
Yosuke - the one with headphone all time
Chie - meat lover
Yukiko - once she laugh, there's no end
Kanji - a delinquent who loves knitting and cute stuff
Rise - an idol who's cooking killed Yukiko
Naoto - youngest detective & a crossdresser
Kuma - the cutest boy ever!

From about the first episode I was reeled into the series. Its filled with action, mystery and comedy.
The moments inside the "Velvet Room" are shown effectively almost as if you're playing a video game (seeing as it is based off a video game).
The anime hasn't taken a turn for the dark side like most anime do in the later stages which in my opinion is fantastic. Its ability to retain a string of comedy throughout the series has made it an anime I can't wait to watch.
The animation is vivid and effectively reflects the mood in each scene. Dull or gloomy for isolation, sadness, etc and bright for happiness and so on.
However there are moments where it can get a bit repetitive. However these moments though repetitive also have a unique twist to them each time.
The characters are an interesting mix where a lot of the time the people aren't always what they seem. Which is a good twist making it intriguing (at least from my perspective)
All in all for anyone looking for something with consistent comedy mixed with action and mystery then this anime is for you. Lovers of the game may also be interested in the anime.

After the credits there's usually a little snippet of the episode. Its helpful to watch these bits as they are mainly part of the storyline. So the story may not make sense if you don't watch these bits. Some cases it will just be random shorts or there will be none at all but in most cases there is a little anime short after the credits (show less)
