I felt that the first half of the series was somewhat rushed. The characters feel too childish and naive. Flit appeared to be too immature for his role as the protagonist. Emily came off as annoying. Her role in the first half of the series seemed pointless. So far the story is rather bland and full of holes. The enemy has somehow been able to destroy many colonies without the federation doing any damage to them at all. Then all of a sudden comes along flit with his gundam and all of the crappy mobile suits are somehow able to shoot them down. Overall I'm disappointed with this gundam series. (show less)

when i watched the first episode...not impressed at first. HOWEVER, as 2 and now 3 show up, i see some potential. this is an attempt to reboot the franchise. also the series does not begin with all of the gundams parts for every situation. this story is more of a stand alone type...not connected directly to original or other series. sure some of the characters are annoying but really... this series have much to offer.

i like how the story has so many questions than answers. i'm the type of viewer who enjoys anime with depth. the characters have promise but still need more time to fully bring out their uniqueness. flit seems like a kind of sad hero we all like to watch over come his failings. give this series time it will get better... i hope. :) (show less)

1st of all the main character has a crappy name!!2nd every1 agrees that it feels like a step back from 00 ,yet on its own it has potential. Those of us who grew up with gundam will not readily accept this series, but hell i was bored so thought i 'd give it a shot. The gundams themselves are descent the main cast mmm not so much. they look like a cross between beyblade(not the cool one) and yugioh gx. As for the story eh it can improve, well like all ill just have 2 wait n c. PS the ending did have me wanting more. (THE UE look like a mix of wargreymon and other digimon any1 agree?)LOL well that's my bit!!! (show less)

I am a large Gundam, I have basicly watched every single one that has come out over the years, and I have to say this one has followed the same pattern of having a slow start to the series, so its hard to say from the first episode if it going to be good, it has allot of going for it, I think this will take off and be popular, but don't compare it to other Gundam series as each one has a different take on things.
only thing I do find strange is the colourful/kiddy look to the people, but I suppose that will grow on me given time, so over all, I say, if you like Mecha anime or Gundam give it a watch you may or may not like it. (show less)
