the show was probably cancelled for some shit mybe, because i'll never be satisfied with how the just left the show the way it was. they could have made some of the events that happened in the story more longer. thi s anime had so much potential to be good but they fucked up and i'm pissed off. one thing about this anime when you look at the relation ship growth between the butler girl and the main character, it al happened way to fast. when you comapare it to to a show like Kaichou wa Maid Sama well even show was a bit of a strech...

"Mayo Chiki!" is an enjoyable anime but it wouldn't be my first recommendation.
Fans of the genre should check this one out though. The whole secret thing reminded me a bit of "Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu".
The story is relatively original. You would expect there to be a lot of gender bender stuff but it doesn't really bother me and is actually pretty funny because you as viewer also know Konoe's secret.
One strong point of this show is that the romance actually develops and the protagonists are honest to themselves and others.

The conversations are good. The personalities aren't completely inovational but they're each unique and often absurd in their own way.
The animations are modern quality.
I think I liked "Mayo Chiki!" better than most romance comedies but I wouldn't say it's one of the best. Watch it if you like this kind of series and don't have any other anime you really want to see. ( show less)

I enjoyed the concept but I feel like the character relationships are misconstrued maybe. You know that almost all the girls like him, except his sister but i want to know who he likes. Not only that, the way to cure his illness, how they do that, maybe impossble but I want to see how they progressed. It's something I would watch again but only certain episodes. The final episode was dissapointing, they've should've ended the season with episode 12 but I mean good turning point for Kinjirō and Nakuru relationship. I'm no medical expert but if ( read more)

I'm no medical expert but if kinjiro's body did just cause nose bleeds in contact with women, I have two questions, one if he didn't see that they were women, would it still happen? Could be just a brain adaptation. Two, the only way if he had nose bleeds would be a busted blood vessel which may result to high blood pressure, so over time, he's sooner or later goin have a stroke or heart attack? ( show less)

so far there are only 2 eps in this series but i like it, it has potential although the suggestive material and hentaish attributes of this anime could take a back seat as far as i am concerned. its a tad too much of fan service but at least the storyline is amusing
