Yea, like the title stated.. The genre is the same as "Un-Go" anime that was released last year. I would say that the animation is pretty good considering that it was made a few years before. Unlike Un-Go, this anime have quite a lot of element comedy in it and the way they solve the case is pretty interesting too.

Overall : Don't let anime anime cover pic fool you. It seems like there are many great anime in this site have a boring and lame cover pic while some other poor anime have a very beautiful cover pic. SO! this anime is for you who are searching for comedy or mystery anime. (show less)

Alright. Guess what? its just so happens that a story with a demon who wants to eat mysteries, with a girl with a bottomless stomach with a yakuza who just doesn't eat anything at all throughout the entire anime series, work so well to solve some mysteries, just cause the first guy feels like it. Screw morals, cause Neuro just loves to bite peoples heads to suck their mysteries in their brains out. This unusual detective type story has elements of action, which makes it very entertaining as the action seems almost too real to be true, but nevertheless it provides a refreshing break from all that detective thinking, and you can almost laugh at neuro getting some smacks for his oversized ego in his everyday activities. Moreover, the fact that Yako just doesnt seem to stop eating and continues to never ever grow any more weight and is praised for her looks, makes me feel somewhat PISSED! But its ok, cause its not real. The guy has his favourite line, something on the lines of the mystery is already on the tip of my tongue, which I hear every time, seems almost classic. It is certainly great entertainment, and a great anime to watch if you are interested in psychological/detective type stories.

The only thing is...when you look at neuro's eyes, thy remind me of a rapist. dunno why. just saying. probably cause he likes whipping the yakuza at yako, often referred to as his slaves. XD (show less)

This anime is is kind of in a class of it's own. I mean sure there are several anime out there with the whole "I met a demonic main character and now we adventure together" theme but not like this. Neuro is like no other main character of this genre. I fell in love with his sadistic yet almost parental attitude toward the female main character. It's hartwarming yet disterbing at the same time.

The animation is hmmm... quirky yet awesome at the same time, kinda like the anime itself. The mysteries and plot are well thought out (and sometimes even realistic). And even though it's mostly comedy/mystery ther is also a nice touch of gore/horror, not enough to gross a person out but just enough to add a good chill down the spine. The main characters are well thought out and easy to watch and very entertaining. The dialogue had me rolling on the floor and squirting milk out of my nose. Seriously my sides split with laughter!

While there are some filler episodes, they are entertaining enough that they are very easy to wait through without the "just get on with the plot" feeling you get from some other anime *cough* Naruto *cough*.

This anime is definitely worth your time!
