Summary: |
The setting is Taisho era Japan. Tanjirou is a kindhearted young boy who lived peacefully with his family as a coal seller. Their normal life changes completely when his family is slaughtered by demons. The only other survivor, Tanjirou's younger sister Nezuko, has become a ferocious demon. In order to return Nezuko to normal and get revenge on the demon that killed their family, the two of them depart on a journey. From a young talent, an adventure tale of blood and swords begins! |

This show hasn't even really started at this point so there is much to be desired.
Animated by Ufotable this show is a visual masterpiece (even the 3d segments), definitely one of the better animated shows I've seen in a while, and with the rise of seasonal anime that is saying something.
A tragic but uplifting beginning that sets you on a wild ride with it's protagonists. Gore, sakuga, and action aplenty with likable characters and and amazing sound direction. I highly recommend watching episodes with headphones; You'll feel every strike and ( read more)
