An American kid named Joey lives in an urban city & has always wanted to become a hero. Unfortunately he's just an orphan working part time to support his grandma and himself. After he watched a toy commercial on a new robot action figure, Joey believe he'll gain strength if he obtains one. The only robot toy he can get his hands on is a broken one that was abandon by a rich school bully. Feeling pity for the trashed action figure, Joey took it home to repair it. Little did he know, that once he repairs the toy, it'll make his hero dream become a reality. |

I would recommend watching heroman. I have been a stan Lee fan since I was a kid. This is a very good series that delivers an excellent emotional tug at your heart strings. Excellent story development that keeps you coming back for more. This episode called faith left you hanging onto the storyline down to the last seconds, even though you know that heroman and the kid would deliver the finishing blow. Keep the awesome storylines coming Stan.

as you might have read from the overview of this anime Stan Lee created it. i am only on episode 3, but it seems that the story is developing nicely. Not a "SUPER" action anime (like bleach, or dbz) but it has a good bit of action in it. One plus for me is that none of the characters are HUGE. I cant stand gigantic characters. The robot appears to be around 10 foot, and the aliens are about the same. While this IS anime, it is not japanese anime. that is not a big deal to me, but some "japanese" fanatics might subtract a "rating star" from it because ( read more)

i love this animetion but i thnk it should have ended when the skrubs were distroyed, write now the it feels to me that writer is trying to hard to bring the skrubs back in the picture,but never the less the anime is still good. i love joey and nina`s love youthful love and i would like to see psy ending up with joey nasty, rude sister.

I think it's a good idea to put a superhero story into a manga and then into a anime because it all just makes sense. The story is very simple and the animation is amazing with cool effects when that robot and aliens fight. I always have fun watching it! =)

Now, I don't like giant robot animes. If you like giant robot animes, don't watch this. This isn't a giant robot anime. There may be a giant robot in it, but it is not a giant robot anime.
I love the animation of this anime. It is one of the best I've seen, and I've seen quite a few.
Now, when considering the plot, you have to take into consideration who created this anime: Stan Lee. Stan Lee is the godfather (in my opinion) of all Marvel comic books. Spider man, Iron man, the works. This is an excellent anime for anyone that is into his comic ( read more)

I love the animation of this anime. It is one of the best I've seen, and I've seen quite a few.

Okay...the final battle between Heroman and the big bad bug could have been a bit longer...but it's not the end, and I don't expect it to be. ( show less)
