Considering how I enjoyed season 1(recently discovered the series through boredom and insomnia), season 2 was a bit of a letdown.

It started out great, I figured it would pick up from the last episode of ssn1(and it kinda did?), and there would be steady progression of the 'love flag' being raised on Mahiro. It started out great, I figured it would pick up from the last episode of ssn1(and it kinda did?), and there would be steady progression of the 'love flag' being raised on Mahiro. To my disdain, all i got out of this season was nothing but Nyaruko being her usual ecchi self towards Mahiro. Cthuko towards Nyaruko(later begins to like Mahiro). Lastly, Hasta and his constant BL syndrome for Mahiro. All the while Mahiro is making as much progress to hinder all of their affections towards himself, but accepts Shantak's feelings after one episode? Then there's Kurei's hidden(not so well) affections for Mahiro finally budding when she realizes that she DOES have feeling for him... The foreboding in the episode where he is buying massive amounts of forks kinda makes you think he has some super use for them, but as always, ne never ends up fighting the Gods himself....All in all, This season was a disappointment compared to season 1, hopefully they make a season 3 that actually has progress for one of the romances in it. To end it with a happy note, I kinda liked the original...slightly bloodlusted?....Nyaruko from early season 1. ( show less)
