Sho, a high school student along with his best friend encounters a guyver unit by accident at the school lake. Unaware that it will target Sho it launch itself onto Sho and becomes one within him transforming Sho into what is known as the First Guyver. Chornos are however looking for the unit and fighting a battle not a few yards away until Sho and his friend witness monster like creature that is kept in hiding from the human society and is about to get kill when Sho, unconscious of his behavior as the Guyver kills of a few of Chorno’s man to save themselves. When Sho becomes conscious he realized his action and horrified by his appearance and behavior. Thus, the story began as we get to watch Sho and his best friend, Tetsuo battle it out with the Chorno’s Corporation and having to face not just one guyver but other guyver just like Sho himself.
One great all time anime that I love. The best version is “The Guyver – Bio Buster Armor” which came out in 1994. I love like the entire episode but the best episode was episode 6 when the guyver re-resurrected and Sho is once more unconscious as his armor the guyver goes off killing and destroying Chorno’s building. LOL, kick ass.
This series might be the newer one that came out somewhere around 2003 or so so it might be complete different to the one in 1994 where there are more blood and gore, nudity and better action. (show less)

The story in this is rally interesting, this was adapted from the old 1990's version and the story has been extended further. This is definetly one to watch you will love this classic story. This has gore an blood, it has awesome characters and the weapons are just out of this world, guyver is about a high school student who comes across this alien unit, when activated it latches on to him and gives him an suit of weaponry. This suit is known as the Guyver, there are only 3 units in the universe. After the student activates the unit a organisation called Cronos is after the guyver. This story is Very Similar to Naruto shippuden, however the story is quite different. (show less)

The Remake of 'Guyver - The Bioboosted Armor' is a really good series. Rather than just being refined the animation of the series was completely redone, which gave it an invigorating freshness. The story had more depth to it than the original movies and was extended further. Some of the original 'Guyver Movie' fans dreaded this new, updated and modified series without even giving it a chance, but most of us welcomed it with open arms so we could reminisce in this awesome story and our days of watching it in the 90's. It has plenty of Gore, intense action, great voice actors and a bit of nudity and foul language to round it off - great qualities for an anime for older viewers (or 8year olds in the 90's).
Although the anime did have a con - THE ENDING!. The last few episodes were, let's be frank - exceptionally shitty. As well the ending was left open which left viewers and fans asking 'what the fuck just happened?' and - 'are you going to fix this with a second season?'
Overall, myself and many others enjoyed the series and strongly recommend it to previous 'Guyver Movie' fans, and/or those who haven't seen/heard of the series, and are looking for something a bit different, with plenty of action, gore, and a descent story. (show less)
