Summary:
Enter the world of Gilgamesh. Where the sky has been turned into a psychedelic mirror and civilization is only a shadow of its former self. Where beautiful assassins transform into terrifying winged creatures. Where children are born with amazing powers. And where a brother and sister are hunted by organizations with dark agendas. Gorgeous animation, breakthrough character designs, and stunning visuals make this suspenseful, addictive tale of mystery, magic, and espionage the first gothic anime masterpiece of the new millennium.

The other problem is that it often times becomes too predictable. I gave a 2 for animation because it's very inconsistent. Sometimes the animators spend a lot of time on one scene but, for the most part it seems poorly done. I am disappointed to see that sometimes the sound does not match with the animation. Too many delayed reactions. The fight scenes are not very interesting. The animators rely on basic CG to animate auras and attacks.
I don't recommend this anime to watch. If you do want to watch it, I suggest you skip to important dialogue sequences. (show less)
