I've watch the first season on Eureka 7 and expect more in this anime. The anime was good but, I don't now, it just feel not right. The animation was excellent and the story was pretty good, but the story just far from my expectation and became such a "mainstream mecha anime" when a boy with unknown past found a ultimate mecha, meet an strange creatures and trying to save the world. Without a deep romance and lack of character development (compared to the 1st seasons), I cannot say this was the "true sequel" of eureka seven. But, aside of what I ( read more)

I know there's only less then 10 episodes out right now, the episodes have great animation and I have a subtle 50/50 feeling so I wouldn't have to much expectations and be disappointed in case they don't deliver.. Well gotta say after episode 8 I'm wondering if they're turning this into a *Concepts and story from the first anime - But not actually including anyone but Eureka, and maybe Renton to kind of say hey this is Eureka 7's sequel, trust us.

Eureka 7 from the very first episode to the last was so freaking good, from it's originality to every single emotion in it. But this series has delivered nothing but anxiety for me to see any 1 single cast member from the original to show up to increase this animes greatness cause for me, the original characters, Music, and BONES made that anime fantastic. This anime to me feels like its flopping, I mean it really does feel like its turning into nothing.
From the *Secrets* monsters to Ao's girl/friend. The crew members of Pied piper, an old fart and a mid 30's female CPT or w/e she is, aside from the 2 pilots with Ao, the other cast doesn't appeal to me at all. This is becoming very disappointing for me and I'm trying not to flame this, I'm really not. Please EUREKA 7 AO PICK IT UP!. ( show less)
