Clannad and Clannad After Story

Clannad is being the first half of the 2 part story that revolves around main character Tomoya . The story speaks of how the five girls in school got attrached to him although he is a Delinquent. There is a very distinct characteristic for each character and i assume most people who watch them, feel attached to the characters. Clannad is not a sad movie but it is filled with humor, with Scene of how students hang out during school life. The story comes to an end when Tomoya finally confessed to Nagisa at Episode 22. Ep 23 and 24 looks like a filler to me.
*** It is strongly recommanded not stop watching, i feel that the impact of this anime comes from the 2nd part "Clannad after story". The first part Clannad brings out the characteristic of all the characters in the story.

Clannad after story is the 2nd half of the story, which shows how student move on into society upon graduation, It show how time flies and display much of today's reality. The story focus on Tomoya and Nagisa love life and also their daughter, Ushio. This part is filled with great romance and tear dropping scenario (especially on Ep 18). It also tells a miracle of how wish can be granted to good people. The story is very well crafted and the music matches the atmosphere beautifully. I realise how the writer actually connects 2nd part of the story to the opening (Ushio running through the field) and ending tune (Ushio galloping) of the anime. The music on Ep 22 is also very comforting. Just a brief summary, I am not going to spolit the anime, watch it and remember it. Thumbs up for the creator.
