This has made my list as one of the greatest anime series of 2008! This thrilling tale of mystery upon mystery really brings out a certain ambiance that truly speaks to a person. The overall cinematics and story line were done exceptionally. The only thing that makes me feel disappointed is that it was a little short, seeing that it was only a 12-part series. I think it would have been perfect as a 24-part series, but it still was more than sufficient in captivating me. Each character also has some unique qualities that really kept the audience on edge! Well first of all, i have read most of the reviews and i agree with some of them and disagree with other. I just happened stumble on to this anime while searching something else. It sounded interesting so i gave it a go.

I watched the first episode and i was like "Woah" because it started with the main character been killed, so that is what made me keep going to find out how that came to be. As i kept watching it i really got more and more confused. Almost all the episodes where just explaining this and that, that i was just left with a blank mind (also they were using really complicated words sometimes x3) Its like the first 8 episodes just give you clues of what is going to happen.

The last four episodes are the ones that really explain everything and what is going on in this anime. It was a real mind blower for me because i really did not expect it to be like that, of course at the beginning it did give me a hint but i did not pay attention to it so i missed it. Anyways Back to my review....this anime is really interesting in a way and i thought it was going to show a lot more gore than the first episode, but nothing that gory ever came so i was disappointed with that D: Also there was not alot of action (whoever said "Girls fighting" in one of the reviews is totally wrong, hardly any action with them) Also the main character really did annoy me because of his cowardliness and his voice just kept getting on my nerves >.> <---------Those are the cons

The good thing about this anime is that it really keeps you wanting to see what more comes out of it. The more you see into this anime the more it explains and more twist come your way. Its just really awesome when you think what is happening and then BAM! they throw a curve ball at you x3

This anime is something in the middle of great and in just watching something else. Cause in reality not everyone likes the same thing. So if you want to check it out then do so. I would recommend this anime for those who want a psychological anime and one that is entertaining at some points :D (show less)

I have read the Visiual Novel (VN) of this anime, and i must say it can be portraied much, much better. But considering that the VN is only semi-popular in Japan this anime did not get very much attension. Also many people problem couldn't take the blood and gore of the very first episode and thought "Gee, this anime is horrible". The thing is, for 13 episodes to portray the epic-ness of any VN is quite difficult, for example "Fate/Stay Night". The director was not very good, but if you like animes that have a semi deep plot with absolutely amazing animation of girls, i would recommand this anime. (show less)
