In the dry riverbed of Arakawa River, undefeated elite Ichinomiya Kou (aka Rick) met the lovely homeless girl Nino, a self-declared Venusian. Their awkward love stirs up trouble among the other strange inhabitants of the riverbed.
"Arakawa under the BridgexBridge" focuses more on Nino. Although the story isn't as fresh anymore and some new characters aren't that good this season still made me laugh.
The conversations are still as absurd as in the first season. It's really funny to see the last person with some common sense get worked up over the stupidity of the others.
The animation doesn't follow the mainstream. I think it's less detailed but it kind of fits the atmosphere.
As usual the first season was slightly better. Some situations weren't that funny while others were just as hilarious as some of the best of the first season.
