"Arakawa under the BridgexBridge" focuses more on Nino. Although the story isn't as fresh anymore and some new characters aren't that good this season still made me laugh.
The conversations are still as absurd as in the first season. It's really funny to see the last person with some common sense get worked up over the stupidity of the others.
The animation doesn't follow the mainstream. I think it's less detailed but it kind of fits the atmosphere.

Firstly - Watch the first season. You'll be glad you did
Secondly - the second season carries on everything that the first season had with it, great characters, plot twists and completely random (yet extremely funny) scenes. A great anime for anyone who just wants to relax and have a good laugh.
