That´s basically how you could describe this OVA series. I think the show was a bit too short, could have used a couple more episodes. Also the story lacked a lot of focus, and was all around weak in general. I also thought that a lot of the jokes they wanted to be funnier than they actually were. The only reason I´m giving this an average and not a poor is that I symphatized and felt sorry for the main character how completely misunderstood he was. Oh, and I´m so sick of that cliche 90´s animation style. Some animes can pull it off. This one however, could not. (show less)

"Angel Densetsu" seemed good for some laughs but it was too focused on fights for my taste. I thought there were going to be more (funny) misunderstandings.

The plot's a bit like a bad version of Beelzebub (although i've only read that as a manga). The main character keeps fighting stronger and stronger guys until he eventually beats the toughest delinquent. The only difference is that the fights aren't that impressive and the main character doesn't realise he's in a fight.

The conversations didn't really make me laugh. The funniest thing about this anime was the story.

This shows obviously pretty old. The character design, the art style and the music are all out dated.

I can't say these two episodes bored me. I even watched both at once and I was surprised how fast the first one was over. I'm just a bit disappointed about the direction the plot took. This might be funny if you're used to watching a lot of battle anime. (show less)

Angel Densetsu is one of the funniest manga I have ever read and I was very excited when I saw there was an OVA!
It is an older story and it shows in the animation but it still has that classic 'wholesomeness' to it so it doesn't really matter.
I might be biased because I love the manga so much, but I throughly enjoyed the OVA. It was just as funny
to watch as it was to read.
It only has two episodes and says that it is completed, though obviously the story goes much further in the manga and there is a "to be continued" at the end of the last episode. I am hoping there is more to come.
So if you are looking for something fun and enjoyable to watch then look no further. I guarantee you won't be able to keep a straight face!
So give it a go.....and then go read the manga!!! (show less)

This anime could be great, if only there were more episodes...i've read the manga some time ago, and i just love it! The drawings were just "diferent", a bit too realistic, but you can get used to it ;)
The story is really good and very funny, especialy the main character Kitano...how can someone be so much misundertood by everything they do?! It's just hilarious! xD

Anyway i truly recommend to anyone, to read the manga, is really one of the best stories i've read ;)
Is sad cause this anime ended way too fast...this story has so much more to offer...go read it :D (show less)
