Having never seen the original series, I was a tad bit confused about the storyline. However, this anime does an incredible job of clearing up any questions about espers and their abilities. The characters are incredible; you have arrogance, badassery, cuteness, etc, etc. The story also contains quite a few twists that have your anger simmering, and your emotions running high. This show is also a bit of a heartbreaker, especially near the end :3. The animation is incredible, and overall, this is an amazing show.
