| Summary: |
Jin, a mysterious kid with a halo carved in his hand, and extraordinary fighting skills, lives with his grandfather in a beggar's community. In other place, the old scientist Amagi is searching for professor Kanzaki, to ask him for the whereabouts of the "player" -a kind of genetic altered humans- Zet, which they created some years ago. Soon, Jin and his grandfather are attacked by a mysterious man who turns into a monster. The connection between professor Amagi and professor Kanzaki, seems to connect also young Jin to the mystery of the "players", and Zet.
The story starts off with a face-off between two rival heroes, ZET and ALPHAS, and then traces their origins - Jin Kanzaki, a young man with the ability to transform into a superhuman being known as ZET, and Kouga Amagi, a young man with a strong sense of justice who uses technology to fight as ALPHAS. The fates of these two men and those around them intertwine as they fight to protect mankind and destroy monstrous abominations known as Players, who ironically are the creations of the Amagi Corp. |

This anime sits proudly at the top of my anime list for this season. The story is very marvel/DC Comics like. From the very first episodes your completely blown away. A lot of manga fans were not very happy with series which is understandable but the series as it is is what it is and thats not changing right now as a none manga fan I can say they wrote it very well the pace is awesome fast when it has to be never boring the dialogue is not really all that great considering a bulk of this series is mostly action. What I really liked about the series was that although it is marvel like with the super hero get up they didn't focus a lot on the whole a hero must do this guide line thing, its quite laid back in that regard but of course they added some which was mostly in humor. I must say this series is really something short as it will be its been awesome watching so far if your still thinking of an anime to follow I recommend this above all the other anime IF this genre is your thing of course
