I really like this anime. It gives us an excellent general view of all the characters and I think the story development is really good. I really like the main character and the way he is portrayed. As usual with sports animes, he does some pretty unrealistic things but the way he does them often doesn't make it seem that way. He is in no way overpowerful, nor are any of the other characters. I think the dialogue is particularly good and I like the humour in this anime. The main character is amusing but likeable. Generally, a really good anime, totally worth watching.
