It is his destiny to decide the fate of the world and mankind, no matter if he wants the role or not.
This is one of the most beautiful anime I've ever seen. The story is intense and makes you keep wanting to watch more until the very last episode. The animation is done very well coupled with admirable music. If you are in the mood for a darker, more tragic anime series. This is the anime for you. You'll become engaged with not only the story, but also with the excellent animation.
If you are familiar with CLAMP's works, you have to give this one a try. It's my favorite even though it's older. I just got into the series too and wondered why I took so long to consider the series.
The reason why I gave a lower rating for the story and entertainment is because the manga is a lot better in those areas. Artwork is extremely captivating and the development of each character's story is more in-depth and sorrowful. I personally recommend you to try the manga first, but the anime is still very good. If you do happen to like the anime a lot, you have to consider reading the manga (although it is incomplete right now).
