Gurren Lagann takes place in a fictional future where Earth is ruled by the Spiral King, Lord Genome, who forces mankind to live in isolated subterranean villages that have no contact with the surface world or other villages. These villages are under constant threat of earthquakes, so select villagers called diggers are relegated to expand their homes deeper underground. Simon, a meek young digger who is ostracized by his peers, finds solace in his best friend and older brother figure, an eccentric delinquent named Kamina, who allows Simon to join his gang, Team Gurren, to help him achieve his dream of visiting the surface world. |

You sir, cannot actually troll for peanuts. I mean I've seen a better troll in the form of your mother in her bathrobe.
Getting to what's important (And most certainly isn't a lesser life form that thinks it can troll.)
Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. A mouthful for title that might sound cocky. But it has all the rights to be in it's cocky position as it is an excellent anime. Fans of Borderlands will like it due to numerous similarities, the main being it's special heavy outlined art style. Characters you will absolutely love in the forms of Yoko, Simon and Kamina. (and my favourite, Viral)
Music that suits the moments of extreme epicness as well as scenes that make you go: WTF followed by a quick and elongated LOL :P
9,5/10 and a must watch
Enjoy :)
