Summary:
The only way to escape is to 'clear' the game. Death in game means actual 'death' ----
The ten thousand who have logged onto the as of yet mysterious game 'Sword Art Online' using their Nerve Gear have been forced into this perilous death game and are trapped inside.
Protagonist Kirito, one of the many gamers, has greeted this 'truth'.
He plays as a solo player in the giant castle that is the stage for this game ---- 'Aincrad'.
To meet the conditions of clearing the game and leaving this twisted virtual world, he must get through all 100 floors. Will Kirito have what it takes to clear the game, or will he die trying?
Okay what can I say about SAO ? Is it a bad anime ? Hell no its a graphical firework with decent action and nice character assemble. Is it an amazing anime ? No. In my opinion there are too many side stories that completely ruin the concept. I wanted this anime to become insanely epic and every boss fight to be a strategic fight, instead of this the fights were very simplistic and too short.
And then there are either plotholes or writing fails. (SPOILER) If you lose all your hp in SAO, your actual body dies. The virtual machine destroys your brain and you simply die. Thats the official explanation. But there are items that resurrect dead players...wtf ? So a completely destroyed brain of a person can be resurrected ? SERIOUSLY ?
Well as I said its a nice anime but I probably wouldnt watch it again, nor would I buy it on dvd. But I will continue watching it because its not that bad too actually drop it
