conclusion: somewhat reminiscent of bleach... so for those who miss that one being on break, go ahead. easy to follow, with likeable characters and development, although psychological aspects/drama were slightly overtoned by comedy (there's series worse on that though). story is slightly patchy, partly predictable, and doesn't exactly follow the manga, so i felt like it could be better, but that might be me. a little perverted at times (no real ecchi aspect but the jokes... the jokes...!!), but still provides provides good action, funny humour, friendship, and familial love. wacky, hilarious, stylish, yet pretty violent at the same time. i would recommend the manga more than the anime (>better story, same lovable charas, and same comedy), but this is decent as well. don't have any particular complaints concerning the technical execution (seiyuu, animation, music). oh, but if you want to watch this, the sub provides a better feel for charas' personalities; the dub kinda changed the script.
