Stupid m0nster, trying to copying my style. I'll kick his face for that :[. But it's good he's doing informative reviews now.. ^_^
Anyway.. Personally, I LOVE this show. It's probably one of the funniest things I've seen, it's second in my heart for comedy only to Drawn Together. :]
Review:
Shin-chan isn't about pretty colors or flashy fight scenes. Actually, it's pretty much a "gag anime" or w/e you wanna call it. The jokes that come out are kinda childish but the way Shin comes out with them and just the situations he gets into is, REALLY funny. For example the "Mr.Elephant dance" and "I had an accident with glue and I don't wanna talk about it." or "dad, will you buy me a shotgun?" And even "Yay! And I didn't even have to cut myself!". The animation is horrible, but it is pretty old as someone said prior to me. As far as story goes, there isn't much of a story as an entire thing. It's just "day to day" life I guess.
Truth be told, as long as you can get past the horrid looking animations and try to enjoy the dialog, I doubt anyone will really dislike Shin-chan. It is entertaining, trust me. ;]
