Summary:
While searching through the hunters nest for a particular treasure, Shana and Yuji encounter some unforeseen difficulty when their minds end up being switched into each others' bodies.
The only downside to Shakugan No Shana S is simple. Unless you're very familiar with the series, there are terms thrown around in short order that will confuse you. There is no recap at the start to indicate this is a "season two" (something many series do when they start a new season). This is its major weakness. Unless you've seen Shakugan No Shana (and if you havent, go see it!) then much of the interactions and terms won't make any sense.
I can't really find any other faults in the series, as its a good story(if rehashed, but thats nothing new), has good animation, and keeps your attention with a combination of seriousness and laughs. The fight scenes (when things start to heat up) are cool and well done without going over the top (at least until the finale, and then its expected to go a bit over the top anyway).
I liked the original, and this was no letdown when compared to the original.
