Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi shows the a young man setting out to make his own reputation in the work force. He encounters love, jealousy and learns the co-incidents of his own mishaps. It then branches onto two other acquaintance’s personal lives who coincidentally work at the same publishing studios. A dense young Mangaka, and a "loose" middle-aged Shouta. Did I mention it's packed full of typical Shoujo type encounters were the main characters all are somehow connected? Well, it’s the typical Shoujo type anime, with all the sparkles, fluffy scenes and romantic lines, but the characters are all male. Not suggested for Homophobias.

The story is a mirror reflection of the Manga, which is brilliant since they keep the originality to the anime. Nevertheless they cut a large proportion of the sex scenes that occur in the Manga. Read the Manga if you’re interested in what they really did after those declarations of love.

The animation is flashy colourful and very Shoujo typical. It’s obviously aimed at the young female audience; with the variation of short large eyed males, and tall handsome Bishounens.

Entertainment is all there, watching the chase and the characters falling in love which is the whole point of the anime. All the while constantly wishing they'd get together already. The classic love story.
Defiantly a "feel good" anime, Recommended for unprejudiced people.
