Ruroken is one of those evergreen animes that never get old. The "I'll protect those close to me" kind of heroes. He's a man who is tormented by his foolishness. He wants to forget his past that comes back to haunt him. His vow to never kill makes it interesting against strong opponents. This anime makes you think about the thin line between right and wrong ( which is probably a bad point ). But the original 62 episodes are good ( the manga is better with more 'bout kenshin's past and his 1st wife ). The later 33 fillers aren't bad like naruto or bleach. They are very enjoyable too. Though the final episode could be better. So if you are looking for a good action-comedy anime with slight romance and adventure, Ruroken is what you're looking for.
