Honestly no one really gives this show much credit for what it is considering it came along with the rest of the 2012 line up and was quickly forgotten. So hopefully this helps people to watch the show.
So basically this is one of the mecha anime of the 2012 startup. The mecha designs and battle sequences are animated perfectly and are exciting to watch, though they don't fight in every ep. So far out of the 7 eps they only fought for like 4 of them. The animation style itself greatly resembles To Aru Kagaku no Railgun.
The show isn't confusing because they don't overload you with characters since there's only 3 main characters and a couple of antagonist.
The plot itself is interesting, especially for a meccha. I guess if anything else I should say that there are some fan service moments but this is not an ecchi show (considering they decided to go skinny dipping randomly or another instance where this whole eel tentacle thing happens). But it isn't a perverted show...if anything its Shoujo-Ai considering lack of male characters. This show knows when to be serious and knows when to be funny, even putting in some humor in battle sequences (1st episode when the main character tries to pilot her mecha she ends up smashing her head on the windshield).
Final thing, the op and ending songs are just so good! They're kind of a weird peaceful pop music thing, but the soundtrack is really enjoyable. Hope this helps.
