Summary: |
Fumihiko Matsumaru is an average salaryman with no girlfriend. He invited his colleague Miss Tanaka to a movie but was stood up. Right at the time he was about to toss tickets into a trash can, a cute girl appeared and asked him not to waste those two tickets. After movie and dinner, he escorted her home and found they live in the same neighborhood, yet unfortunately her apartment caught on fire hours later. Having nowhere else to stay, rookie seiyuu Aka Onda moved to Matsumaru's place, and the two had started a "more than friend but not yet lovers" relationship under the same roof while keeping this secret from their employers. |

This is one of the most trickest anime I have had to review.. IN general it is a good story.
Its not fancy or eye grabbing and doesnt introduce new conecepts, However it is a very down to earth no filler and direct story. Its the practical romance of two people who came together under a interesting circumstance and how they benifted from each other that sparkled into romance.
Much unlike other strories which I have seen in anime.. this one is more of maintaining a relationship than actually trying to found a relationship. However for being quite short, it does deal with very great concepts such as the human mind and how it can say one thing and mean another. How people function in a relationship and how things can be very difficult with misunderstandings...
In review it packed quite a bit of real life elements and lessions into a VERY short anime. IN that its awesome. I found the dialogue excelent as many of the voice actors are actually very good, however you have to listen closly for it because the director is actually trying to make the voices for the most part seem more down to earth so not a lot of bragging and showing off. Although Aka goes through a ton of voices and styles (due to her voice acting character) letting a sharp mind pick up on it.
Animation isnt as terrible as people would think, not star quality, they focus too much on bright lights and pastel feel I think, but overal it was tollerable. As for entertainment.. this isnt a series you think of as extremely fun or entertaining but it does give you a warm home feel and leaves you with a wonderful taste for the series and life in general witch few anime can pull off in general or any type of show really...
If you like romance, or dont mind watching a real life type potrayal of a relationship then this is a good show to watch
