Seven teenagers in 1955 have to learn to live together in the same hold in the reformatory of Shio. Confined in a hall where suffering and humiliation are daily, they are waiting for a ray of hope in a dark, incarcerating world. The story follows their life together and how they move on afterwards.
One of the best anime I have ever seen. I didn't know it then, but I fell in love with it the instant I watched the opening. It is a worthwhile anime that tells about friendship and bonds. This anime gets to be quite explicit and because of that I almost didn't give it a chance, but after taking in the first two episodes and picking it back up again, I couldn't stop watching it. Watched 11 episodes in one sitting! I love all the characters that were introduced in the anime. They each had a story to tell.
