Dark but brilliant

This is a rare show for me to watch because its suspence could be closer described as horror in some parts but it does it so brilliantly you will be amased.

The story is brilliant, fresh and new. The concept is police of the future in Japan that are using newer technology to keep a carful control of society's balance.. the concept sounds the same as today however its completly differnt. Around Every corner the animation impresses and shows the depth of thought that went into this masterpeice of a plot.

The Dialogue is sharp, the action scenes are hectic and the voices show it. Yet when the violence calms down the actors give a calm caculated effect feel that helps cement the idea this everyday futuristic feel. A wonderful job.

The Animation is fresh as well. It has a hard but sharp yet beautiful feel to it in a modernistic feel. It can however go pastel as well and does it with class. The Horror scenes of some of the crimes give you a gritty feeling without going into what I would Rate as too much. Its enought to shock the watcher but at the same time retain class and plot focus. A brilliant tight balance played well.

The Entertainment is strong. If you dont mind slight graphic scenes and somewhat more hard topics its a wonderful watch with a strong plot- amasing focus and deep phycological themes without getting into modern politics a brilliant line to fallow. Additionaly I find more and more how I just wanted to find out whats next,- In any animation that is an excellent sign. The only odd fact about the animation is the last episode.. they defenantly brought the [bear in mind thats episode 22 for future reference] animation around to the beggining however they leave it open to the thought that in a way a new person could step into the shoes of trying to end the system that controls the government or in short a way to continue on with the series.

Despite the intersting prediciment of the show at the moment I still loved this quasi-ending and it proves how strong the plot is.

If you dont mind graphical and hard topics this is definantly somthing you must see. Brilliant to the core.
