Summary:
Count D, a quite interesting pet shop owner from an area called Chinatown, sells rare and hard to come by pets to people longing for something special, but with each sale comes a contract. If the rules of the contract are followed, everything goes fine, but if someone should break the rules of the contract, the pet shop cannot be held responsible for anything unfortunate that might happen. Leon Orcot, a homicide detective, has linked many odd and unexplainable deaths together; they all were customers of Count D's pet shop, and he intends to find out why.
The gist of the anime is you get a pet from the shop and follow the rules or else mayhem will ensue. Sound familar? Well if you have ever watched the movie Gremlins then it should. This takes that story and take it to a more extreme level. Simple enough rules to follow really but as with all humans a "curiosity killed the cat" theme follows.
The animation and overall look is a nice touch but could be a lot better. It's seems kinda grainy and the animation seems a bit blocky at times. After seeing other anime out there this is a little bit on the down side. Not comepletly horrible but a low average.
The dialouge is solid in majority of the show aside from the detective. He's lines seem a bit to dry. The pet owner have this smooth and creepy voice. The other characters or "customers" have given great voice overs and the dialouge between them is admirable lacks in a few places but overall as a whole a great job.
This show is only 4 episodes long. ONLY 4! WHY NOT WATCH IT!? It's entertaining if you like horror and mystery themed animes. Its a different story every ep so you get a nice fresh taste with each new ep yummy! :P Really a great watch and you'll get sucked in on the first ep. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
