Before he was executed, the legendary Pirate King Gold Roger revealed that he had hidden the treasure One Piece somewhere in the Grand Line. Now, many pirates are off looking for this legendary treasure to claim the title Pirate King. One pirate, Monkey D. Luffy, is a boy who had eaten the Devil's Fruit and gained rubber powers. Man, I really LOVE this anime and manga! If you want an optimistic, funny show then this is the anime for you. Of course, the beginnings has a low quality of graphic but that's because of the times. lol. Also, like any other long anime, the animation does get better. If you watched Fairy Tail first, then you might notice some character similarities but the story is pretty different. This show would probably be a 50% like or 50% hate for the FT fans depending if you are more a character developer than the other details. Watching this show made me laugh a LOT and shed a few tears here and there. >.< At least give the first several episodes a try before deciding.
