i have to admit with anime like the Naruto and Bleach i didn't pay much attention to Onepiece primarily because of the animation! and the Luffy didn't quite moved me the way Naruto and Ichigo did on the first few episode of the show. However, after seeing the Arabasta saga i decided to try and watch it again and i was started to realized why this series lasted for this long! the first few episodes certainly is a bit dragging but when i got to the Arlong saga i began to realized that this show is more than just senseless fights and wacky characters i has a great story and a few touching scenes and with a blend of comedy here and there and we have a recipe for a great series! Each character has their own unique personality! Luffy may not be smart but his wacky antics and unpredictability makes him an interesting character to watch! The only crew i'm not particularly hype is Ussop and i hope this as the series goes on he becomes more of an asset rather than a liability, Nami though not really a fighter but compensate for it with her wit and navigation skills! If you look past the first few episode you'll find the 1st season of Onepiece is a start for more interesting adventure and lot more interesting characters!
