One Piece = Overhyped piece of sh*t

the past few months have seen a rise in the number of 'wannabe-japanese' american hyping the sh*t out of this series as the greatest thing to have ever existed. the hype has become so overwhelmingly apparent and ANNOYING on the internet that i decided to finally give in. well, shonen fantasy adventures are one of my favorite genres after all... so what could go wrong? right? DEAD WRONG!

i have watched all 501 episodes and read all 627 chapters available at the moment, and i have to say... i dont get it. i dont get the hype. the characters, storytelling, artwork, comedy, music, animation are all completely lazy, lame, and downright idiotic. the emotional scenes which are said to be "some of the best (sic.)" are just the same tired stupid sappy story repeating over and over and over again for every character. the adventures get extremely repetitive. the jokes get extremely repetitive. even the dialogues and the interactions between characters are all boring and repetitive.

it is such a boring hateable series. so much so, that i dont believe for a second that so many people would be willing to hype up this farce as any legitimate means of entertainment. its little american fanboy cult, who insult and belittle more entertaining series and shoves this cr*p down people's throats, can go f*ck themselves.

now despite my hate for this series, i can still understand if people like one piece. trust me i really do understand. but please, try not to become like some of the other d*uchey fans who are overhyping this sh*tfest and painting a false image. just understand that there is a reason this series is a failure outside of japan - its just not that entertaining to everybody else as it is to you.
