Nothing Special

This movie had so much potential. Allowing Naruto to travel back in time to fight along side with his dad seemed like a movie almost any Naruto fan would want to see. However, The Lost Towers let down too many fans with leaving Minato out of the movie for a majority of the time. The plot left too many holes unanswered, and skipped around too much.

The pros - For the first time in a while, this movie had Naruto working on his own, learning from his mistakes without the help of Kakashi and Sakura around. Instead of the other plots in previous movies, Naruto functioned on his own [for the most part] without orders from anyone.

The cons - Only 5 minutes of Naruto and Minato fighting together. The animations were not above that of the show, which is what helps an anime movie stand out from its show. The story left too many open holes in the movie.
