In the country of Gazth-Sonika, civil war rages. There, a mercenary called Madlax plies her trade, with almost supernatural skill. There are some really good aspects to Madlax and some really really bad ones. First of all girlswithguns always good and Madlax does it well. However it also suffers from what I like to call "Bleach Syndrome"... this meaning you will hear the same two or three tracks over and over and over again everytime something exciting happens. They're good songs mind you but it gets kind annoying after sitting through hours of it. The story could have used some work, I got it I really did, but it wasn't done as well as it could have been. Animation and dialogue were about mid-high range, I don't know why characters names had to be said so many times but whatever. You'll enjoy it if you watch it unless you are a horrible person then I don't care anyway.
