Kuro, a 12th-century man, flees into the mountains after losing to his brother, where he meets a strange, beautiful woman named Kuromitsu. the never ending cycle of searching for his missing love is the best plot ,,,how ever it doesnt explain how things got to that point where he cant remember the past and the final episode which shows that the cycle keeps going again to start a new similar adventure to find his beloved and lose her again,,,,it never ends because his beloved is too selfish and wants her lover to never stop searching for her ,,,,she wont even allow him to die because she doesnt want to lose him
