Not one of the best :/

So I recently got finished watching the series, and I was a bit disappointed. The story and ideas surrounding the plot were interesting, but the the story itself just wasn't that deep. The series doesn't really tell us much about the characters, the action was slow paced most of the time, and there are just some weird events that occur without explanation. I think I will still read the manga though.
